Resolution through Negotiation

Most importantly, Joelle is dedicated to providing effective intelligent support for those interested in respectful negotiation. She believes strongly in negotiating family disputes in a courteous and safe environment, giving separating couples an opportunity to maintain a working relationship, enabling continuing communication, which is especially important when there are children of the marriage. Joelle recognizes that going through a separation is a difficult emotional journey and she offers sensitivity and guidance through the process.  It is important to note however that she does no litigation work, so is not the appropriate choice of representation in situations that require court proceedings.

Estate Planning Solutions

In addition to her mediation and collaborative law practice, Joelle offers expertise in Wills and Powers of Attorney, including those reflecting complex situations. Combined families, entrepreneurs with private corporations, difficult family situations, family members with disabilities or receiving government assistance, and single parent families all present potential difficulties when planning a Will. Joelle will guide you through the planning process by offering creative solutions while addressing potential tax and family law issues.

Education

Joelle’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Civil Law and Bachelor of Common Law. And, in addition to her investment training, she has completed Level I and Level II Collaborative Law training, intensive Mediation training, and continues to attend educational seminars and conferences on a regular basis.
